والمؤسسات العلمية والبحثية المتميزة عالميا ومحليا لدعم العمل الأكاديمي والبحثي بالجامعة.

In recent years, great importance has emerged in studying the geology of the Earth in light of the geological, environmental & economic developments that have occurred in the region and the urgent need for energy supply. Thus, we look forward to using the latest scientific and practical methods to rehabilitate an advanced generation of young geologists, contributing to fill the decreasing of working staff in in this vital field and develops the practical possibilities in this field.
The Message:- In the Department of Geology, we seek to develop staff working in this field, and cooperate with seismic activity foundations and national, local and foreign oil companies operating in our country, as well as cultural and academic exchange with universities and distinguished scientific and research institutions globally & locally to support academic and research work at the university.
The Goals:-
1. Exchange of practical experiences between government institutions and foreign companies operating in the region.
2. Supporting scientific activities and field visits for the teaching staff and students.
3. Twinning with the corresponding departments in prestigious international universities to develop advanced academic research programs.
4. Spreading the culture of academic and research cooperation between the teaching staff and students with solid academic research institutions.
